An honorary professional graduate society in career and technical education

Omicron Tau Theta

OTT members and friends,

It's been a big year for OTT!

The National OTT Executive Team met while at the National Association for Career and Technical Education Research Conference in Nashville, TN in December. During this meeting, several changes were made to the OTT structure. Beginning in 2018, OTT dues will be set at $50. This $50 will allow members to be lifetime members and once inducted into OTT, they will continue to have access to the JCTE journal as well as be eligible for national awards and recognition throughout their career. Chapters may set their dues higher to allow for the funding of chapter programs and activities.

The officer structure has changed as well. Dr. Kristin Stair will now be serving as Past-president along with Dr. Marshall Swafford who is the new Organizational Director, this role works with ACTER and serves as the OTT representative on the ACTER executive board. Dr. Sally Arnett-Hartwick is returning to the board in a new office as Secretary of Communications and Dr. Elaine Adams will continue to serve as national advisor. Dr. Adams role has expanded to include membership organization. Please send dues and correspondences about membership to Dr. Adams. Contact information for these officers can be found on our OTT website. The JCTE journal will continue to be managed by Dr. Eddie Fletcher and Dr. Victor Hernandez. Dr. Barbara Hagler will continue to serve as the Journal Editor Board Chair.

If you haven't done so yet, please get your dues in for chapters and members at large for 2018 as soon as possible. We will be using this new information to restructure our mailing lists, so it is critical that if you are a current chapter, chapter advisor or member and wish to continue to receive information about OTT, that your dues get paid soon.
Thank you all for all that you do for OTT and I hope that you have a wonderful 2018!

Dr. Kristin Stair
